Privacy and access control to clinical data
Series · Health Surveillance · 7 of 7
Protect the confidentiality of health data through permissions, traceability, and a certified security framework.
Essential steps
- Restrict access to clinical cards (Medical examinations, Medical Histories, Diagnoses, Laboratory Results) only to authorized medical personnel through user profiling.
- Distinguish strictly medical information from administrative information: fields such as the doctor’s private notes do not appear in any document or report.
- Control the visibility of tests for the worker: configure which tests are visible in the “Worker View” while the appointment is pending to start.
- Rely on the module’s traceability (history of state and attribute changes, with date and author) to audit any access or modification.
- Ensure the secure delivery of health certificates and exams through the system’s own channels (via Worker View or paper delivery record).
